Finally, the whole Oregon coast, the whole West Coast, will be open to Dungeness crabbing. Soon.
Domoic acid results from the area south of Cape Blanco, near Port Orford, to the California border came back clean Thursday. It was the second clean test in a row, allowing the state to open the fishery.
