South Australia's seafood season has kicked off this week.
Our fishing and aquaculture sectors together produce about 60,000 tonnes of seafood every year and support more than 3,000 full time jobs, mainly in regional areas such as Kangaroo Island.
2016-17 data has revealed a record-breaking gross food and wine revenue of $19.97 billion.
This is an increase of more than $1 billion (or 7 percent) on the previous year's record results.
