China Fights Seafood Gray Trade after North Korea Sanctions

The United Nation's recent sanction decision has taken a toll on seafood trading between China and North Korea. In response to this decision, on Aug. 14, China’s Ministry of Commerce and General Administration of Customs publicized a notice, which reads that the country has stopped all seafood import from North Korea beginning Aug.15. On the blacklist are fish, crustaceans, mollusks and some processed seafood.
