Vietnam Takes Quick Action on Two Facilities Caught Injecting Agar into Shrimp

Vietnam’s authorities have caught in red hand two facilities in the Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu injecting agar into shrimp in a bid to get higher weight for their stock before selling, state media has reported.
Inspectors from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, police and the province’s Department of Agriculture and Rural Development detected the wrongdoings of the facilities of Tran Quoc Trung in Vinh My B commune, Hoa Binh district and Tran Quoc Khai, media said.
