Gulf Domestic PUD Prices Hit 6-Month High as Landings Continue 2015 Slide

Wholesale domestic shrimp prices are rebounding in a big way in November with inventories limited as Gulf catches continue to trend far under last year’s totals and historical averages.
In trading last week Urner Barry prices for 61-70 count domestic shrimp were reported $3.02 per pound. This is about a 6 percent increase for the item since the start of November and the highest price for the item since May.
