Live Lobster Prices Down Sharply as New Season Supply Fills Inventories After Mother's Day

Live lobster prices are falling harder after Mother's Day this year compared to the last couple of years but are still over 2014 levels. Prices are down as traders have started to plug their inventories with new season lobsters a bit later then normal, having cleared out thin and higher-priced inventories in anticipation of a post-Mother's Day slump in demand.
