Changes at Seafood News: Ken Coons Stepping Down as Associate Editor

Ken Coons, who has served as Associate Editor on Seafood News since we began our internet publicaton in the late 1990's, is taking another step towards retirement, and will be cutting back his writing.
He will continue to contribute stories from time to time on his own schedule, but will no longer be a daily fixture on our news site.
Ken has been a mentor and friend during my entire time in the seafood industry, and we are lucky that we could have such an effortless collaboration on Seafood News. Above all, we try to represent the viewpoint and interests of the Seafood Industry, something Ken has been doing his entire career.
After working in the clam industry, Ken was one of the founders of the New England Fisheries Development Association in 1980, and served as its executive director. He also hired me as NEFDA's first program director.
Ken kept the Association going for many years...
