Russia Reports 40% Increase in Pollock Fillet Production from 'A' Season this Year

The first stage ("A” season) of pollock fishing season was officially completed in Russia this year, according to an official spokesman of the Russian Pollock Association.
According to official data of the Association, during the period of January 1 to April 15, 2015, total pollock production in all fishing areas of the Far East fishery basin totaled 901,760 tonnes, which is by 2% higher, compared to the same period of last year.
