Speculation Emerges that Kjell-Inge Rokke May be Involved in Refinancing American Seafoods

Kjell-Inge Rokke, the Norwegian billionaire who founded what is now American Seafoods Group, is again being linked to the refinancing and recapitalization negotiations at the pollock fishing firm, according to Undercurrent News.
Rokke’s son Kristian and Hallvard Muri, a former American Seafood Executive and currently the CEO of Aker Biomarine, the krill fishing company in Kjell-Inge’s Aker empire, were reportedly in Seattle last week. Undercurrent News speculated this is in connection to the re-financing of American Seafoods.
A possible investment in American Seafoods involving Kjell-Inge could be done partly through Converto Capital, a vehicle which controls Aker investments...
