Sakhalin Salmon Forecast to be Lower than in 2013, with Pinks at 144,000 tons

The Hokkaido North Pacific Development Association, which monitors Russian salmon projections, announced that according to Sakhalin fisheries authorities, the total salmon catch in the region in 2015, an odd numbered year, will be about 20% below the levels reached in 2013 which was a record year.
The overall catch is estimated at 180,000 tons. Pink salmon will be around 145,000 tons....
