Low supply pushed Australia's Western rock lobster prices to unseasonably high levels in December

Western Rock Lobster has fetched unseasonably high prices for the last month of 2014.
December is traditionally a time of high catch and low prices for the West Australian delicacy, however Lobster Fisheries received an average price of around $70 to $74 per kilo over the month, with some grades fetching up to $84 on Christmas day.
