Australia raises toothfish TAC over 61% on recommendation from Antarctic Resource meeting

Australia's fishery officials were credited for their work in managing the country's toothfish stocks following a decision to raise the allowable catch for Heard Island and McDonald Islands fishery's over 61 percent for the next fishing season.
The catch was raised by the Australian Fisheries Management Authority following a recommendation by the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources during a meeting in Tasmania last month.
