Open Blue Sea Farms' fresh cobia farming operations get GLOBALG.A.P certification

Open Blue Sea Farms has been certified with the GLOBALG.A.P's Integrated Farm Assurance Standard, a pre-farm gate standard that covers the whole production process of from the hatchery to the point of harvest and packing.
Open Blue is the single largest supplier of fresh cobia to the United States and the largest deep water open-ocean farm in the world. The company's operations, which farm fish in the Caribbean Sea near Panama, achieved the GLOBALG.A.P's Aquaculture Version 4 standard following a comprehensive assessment of their business by Quality Certification Services (QCS) an independent accredited certification body.
