Seattle B season pollock roe prices fall on largest volume in 10 years

The auction for B season pollock roe was held in Seattle last week, and overall average prices were down about 7% from the B season roe auction of 2013.
Volume was nearly 1300 tons, the highest volume offered at this time in about ten years, and it was 20% more than last year.
Trident and American Seafoods did not offer roe products in Seattle, as their roe will be sold in the auction in Busan, South Korea.
