Chilean salmon industry expects seasonally low market prices to rebound in second half of 2014

Chilean salmon trade group SalmonChile noted that current low prices seen across the international salmon market were expected and are forecast to recover in the latter part of the year based on historical supply and demand trends.
Typically, during the summer wholesale salmon prices in the US and other markets fall as consumer demand shifts.
