Zhanjiang's export prices for seafood soar this year

There has been a dramatic increase in the export prices of Zhanjiang’s aquatic products thanks to the changes home and abroad since the beginning of this year.
In the first four months of this year, the export volume of aquatic products have reached 27.4 thousand tons while the value is US$ 1.449 billion, rising by 15.1% compared with the same period last year. And the average export price has been on the rise for four months and reached US$ 5290 per ton with an increase of 20.89%.
And the shrimp price is US$ $7430 per ton, rising by 33.05% compared with the same period last year, while the tilapia price is US$ 2460 per ton with an increase of 12.47%.
