Secretary of State John Kerry has announced a major conference aimed at improving the health of the world’s oceans.
The conference, which will be held June 16-17 at the State Department, will include foreign ministers from around the world to discuss pollution, fishing policies, and the impact that climate change is having on the oceans.
This is a subject that has long been a personal passion for Kerry. He believes the oceans being degraded by pollution, overfishing, and greenhouse gas emissions.
