Very Successful Boston Seafood Show Cut Short By Snow Storm

A very successful Boston Seafood Show - renamed Seafood Expo North America several years ago – has been cut short by a major snow storm hitting Boston this morning.
At 11:30 this morning, the National Weather Service has a blizzard warning in effect for Boston, with a forecast 16 to 22 inches of snow to fall by this evening.
The photo of the show floor this morning reflects the weather. It began snowing in Boston around 7 am.
Diversified said that they sold 258,360 sq. feet of exhibit space, to 1341 exhibitors. The show has definitely grown to encompass the full space available at the Boston Convention Center, bumping the co-located New England Food Show a couple of years ago.
The mood at the show this year was ‘relaxed.’ There seemed to be a sense that business was good, that most products were available, and only some price volatility..
