Meeting in Moncton Today Will Discuss Early Opening of Gulf Crab to Protect Whales

Fisheries and Oceans Canada officials will meet with snow crab industry representatives in Moncton Wednesday to discuss the upcoming season in the southern Gulf of St. Lawrence.
The purpose of the meeting is to "provide advice regarding global management issues in the snow crab fishery," according to the agenda.
