Conservation Group Accused of Launching Smear Campaign Against Shetland Shellfish

Open Seas, a marine conservation organization that seeks to "promote more sustainable fishing in Scotland," is being accused of starting a smear campaign against the Shetland shellfish industry.
On Wednesday the Shetland Fishermen's Association released a statement condemning marine conservation lobbyists for making false allegations about the sustainability of king scallops from the islands.
