Poland’s Fish Processors Expand as Exports Drive Sales

Poland-based fish processors are investing to expand their output capacities in response to their increasing export sales.
Data from the state-run Institute of Agricultural and Food Economics (IERiGZ) indicates that in 2016, Poland’s fish industry exported 476,000 tons, up 8% compared with a year earlier. This translated into €1.8 billion worth of sales, a 13.5% increase year-on-year.
