Today's Main Story: AP Recommends Modest Increases in Pollock, POP and Sablefish TACs in Bering Sea
Today's lead item reports that the North Pacific Fisheries Management Council will not adopt final catch limits until Friday or Saturday. So far the Advisory Panel has recommended a 19,000 mt increase in the pollock TAC for 2018 to 1,383,841 mt. That total includes the Aleutian Islands and Bogoslof; the recommendation for the Bering Sea alone is 1,364,341.
