Mark Leslie, VP at High Liner, Passed Away on Saturday at Age 59

Mark Leslie, who started in the shrimp business in Ecuador and who became one of the managing executives at High Liner for more than 26 years died on Saturday, November 18th after an illness.
At High Liner, Mark was in charge of Business Development, and managed the rapid integration of the Fishery Products plant in Danvers, and the numerous other seafood companies purchased by High Liner.
He was also active in the National Fisheries Institute, an avid golfer, a friend to many, and above all known for his many charitable works.
John Connelly, President of NFI, said "Mark Leslie was devoted to his family, his faith and the seafood community. Whether in business development for High Liner or in the early days of shrimp production in Ecuador he was a consummate professional known throughout the industry for his optimism and integrity."
