Walton Family Foundation and International Pole and Line Partner to Improve Indonesia’s Tuna Management

London -- The International Pole and Line Foundation announced a two-year partnership with the Walton Family Foundation today to accelerate reform in Indonesia’s coastal tuna fisheries. Indonesia is the world’s leading tuna fishing nation.
The project pairs IPNLF with local industry body Asosiasi Perikanan Pole & Line dan Handline (AP2HI) to expedite improvements in the pole-and-line and handline fisheries, enabling them to acheive the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) standard, while also ensuring international seafood markets access to the certified products.
The initiative is supported by PNLF’s strategic partnership with USAID Oceans.
