Canadian Oyster Companies Recalling Some Products

The Canadian oyster industry is recalling certain farm-raised Pacific oysters from the marketplace due to a marine biotoxin that causes paralytic shellfish poisoning (PSP), according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. The CFIA said consumers should not eat oysters, and retailers, hotels, restaurants and institutions should not sell, serve or use the recalled products.
No illnesses have been reported, the CFIA said.
The following products have been sold in Alberta, British Columbia, Quebec and may have been distributed in other provinces and territories.
