Barents Sea Cod Quota for 2018 Reduced For Russia and Norway

The Barents Sea cod quota was set at 890,000 tons for 2017, but that number will drop next year. Norway’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries has lowered the cod quota to be caught by Russian and Norwegian fishing fleets to 775,000 tons for 2018.
