Another Round of Negotiations to End Iceland's Fishermen Strike Breaks Down

A recent round of negotiations to end a prolonged fishermen’s strike in Iceland hit another snag this week after talks between the fishermen’s unions and mediators fell apart.
The breakdown in negotiations was reported this week in a joint press release from Iceland’s four major fishermen’s unions: the Fishermen's Union Iceland; Westfjords Union; the Seamen's Union of Iceland and Vélstjórafélag Grindavíkur.
