Fernando Villarroel Leaves Cermaq Canada to Head Marine Harvest's Chile Operation

Fernando Villarroel, COO Canada for Cermaq, will join Marine Harvest as its new general manager for its Chilean subsidiary this May. Villarroel, a native of Chile, has worked for Cermaq for 19 years, ten of them abroad.
"It is with regret that I have accepted the resignation from Fernando Villarroel," said CEO Geir Molvik. "Fernando has been with Cermaq for 19 years and has been very important for the company, not only in Canada but also for the global operations."
Fernando will remain COO in Canada until the end of April.
He has been Chief Operating Officer Canada at Cermaq ASA since November 20, 2013. Villarroel joined Cermaq in 1998 and held different financial positions in Mainstream Chile before he transferred to Mainstream Scotland where he worked as a financial controller...
