Calysta and Cargill to Build UK Facility to Produce Fishmeal Replacing Protein in Salmon Feed

US-based fish and animal feed producer Calysta will set up a state-of-the-art production facility in Teesside, UK to produce its new fish and animal feed ingredient FeedKind.
Calysta’s FeedKind protein was developed in partnership with Cargill. Earlier this year the two companies forged a marketing agreement to commercially produce FeedKind for sales to international markets.
FeedKind is produced using the world’s only commercially validated gas fermentation process. It is a natural, traceable and safe non-animal source of protein.
