Alaskan Pollock Surimi Production Down Over 3% in 2016

Alaskan pollock surimi production from this year's "A" and "B" seasons topped 100,000 tons at the start of July, which is down over 3 percent from this time last year according to figures from NMFS.
Production reached 10,000 tons in a single between the last week of June and start of July. Still, combined surimi production out of Alaska is down from last year.
Surimi production has trended lower all season according to NMFS figures. June totals were down 35 percent last month...
