So far, there has not been the summer surge of lobster landings in Maine, although more and more new shell lobsters are entering the market.
This influx in new shell landings from Maine has Urner Barry planning to begin quotations on New Shell Lobsters soon.
Lobster prices typically decline when landings in Maine pick up. But so far this year, that has not yet happened.
