Turkey to Double Fish, Seafood Production to 500,000 Tons by 2023

Turkey’s fish and seafood industry is poised to double the country’s production from 250,000 tons in 2015 to as much as 500,000 tons by 2023, according to data released by the country’s General Directorate of Fisheries and Aquaculture (TARIM).
Özerdem Maltas, a coordinator at the general directorate, told local business daily Dünya that this is related to the rising fish consumption in Turkey's export markets.
