EU Accepts Sri Lanka's IUU Fishing Reforms; Lifts Ban on Seafood Exports

The European Union will once again accept tuna and other seafood imports from Sri Lanka after the EU Commission accepted the reforms to the country’s fish management policies.
In 2012, the EU slapped Sri Lanka with a yellow card warning and then outright banned seafood shipments from the country in 2014 for its non-compliance with international IUU fishing rules...
